Bonita has had some hard knocks in life ! She was found back in 2008 running free in Bonita Springs, and unclaimed. Sense then Bonita was adopted one time. Taken into a home where she was living with a family who were caretakers for children. Bonita LOVED the kids, but also liked to escape out the door when left open by one. Due to the fact they lived on a busy street Bonita was returned to SPAY-LEE for her safety. Bonita does not seem to like cats but she is aging and mellowing out . Bonita LOVES everyone, and has been with SPAY-LEE for a long time..we are hoping someone, maybe an older couple who are home alot to spend time with her and ... We try to keep our fees as low as possible but we may have to add an additional fee if a vet visit or medications are required after this posting. In most case we are able to update the info with 48 hours, depending on help and time at the time vet visits. Golden Retriever Dogs can make good pets in Florida if they match your IifestyIe. The Golden Retriever is a gundog that loves the water. Originally bred for hunting, Goldens make wonderful family pets. Golden Retrievers are very sweet, patient, gentle, and excellent with children. Goldens are eager to please and respond very well to obedience training. Goldens make good watchdogs but are far too friendly with everyone, from strangers to other dogs, to be used as guard dogs. Goldens need human companionship. They can get into trouble if neglected. This breed is suitable for homes with yards, and needs plenty of brisk daily exercise.
