Rescue Me ID: 14-11-16-00289Cassie (female)

Golden Retriever Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Low Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Meet Cassie, a 3yo Golden/Shep mix! Rescued from the Fort Worth shelter after being hit by a car and set to be euthanized, it was not until she was safe in our foster's care that we realized she was pregnant. She delivered 3 healthy pups that were adopted in July, and after being spayed and declared healthy, Cassie is ready for her forever home! Cassie is a very mellow girl who loves people, and is good with children and other low key dogs. She likes to go for walks and swim in the pond, is house trained and not at all demanding. She is a true love bug that is thankful for her second chance and would love nothing more than to spend evening ... (Read More)snuggled with you on the sofa. The perfect family would have a fenced yard and want a loyal, loving inside dog to be their new best friend. She will chase small wild animals and cats, so no kitties please. Cassie is a tad chubby right now, but should weigh about 55-60 lbs. Adoption fee is $300 which includes transport to the PNW. Email for video and additional photos. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-11-10-00855MAXIMUS - pwb (male)

Golden Retriever Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

This handsome and confident pup is Maximus. He and his siblings were saved in the nick of time from a high kill shelter. Although Maximus can be wary of the people, his curiosity will take him over to investigate should they have something delicious in their hands or pockets. Currently Maximus is happier playing with the other pups and venturing out into the big dog side of the rescue, than being the pup that wants lots of love - but he does make sure that he gets his share of loving, just normally after he has satisfied his curiosity. Maximus is neutered, up to date on vacs, and chipped. Because Maximus has spent most of his life in ... (Read More)rescue he will need a little bit more time to adapt to humans, but once settled in with his family he will adjust really quickly. We are looking for that loving family in the PNW and will transport Maximus there via Paws Without Borders. His adoption fee of $350 includes transport. You can find more information, pictures and an adoption application on our website ~Thanks for checking out our dear Maximus.~ (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-08-21-00196Mira (female)

Golden Retriever Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good with Cats, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Beautiful Mira is a country girl! This beautiful, 2ish yr old girl weighs about 65-70lbs. She's very sweet with her own people and is very well mannered in the home, but she takes some time to warm up to those she does not know. She's a bit on the insecure side so she needs a confident, assertive person to let her know all things are in control so there's nothing for her to worry about. She does not do well in the high-energetic city settings so must have calmer, country home in which she has plenty of room to run and play. She's really a very sweet, absolutely gorgeous girl that gets along great with other smaller, gentle tempered ... (Read More)dogs. Actually, she'd do best with another easy-going dog in the home to help her become more confident. She will do best in an adult only home, or kids must be over 16yrs old... and no cats for this girl.
