|Rescue Me ID: 14-10-23-00572FINNEGAN (male)|
Finnegan also known as Finnie, is a Rottweiler/Retriever mix who came into the dog pound, after he got in trouble for nipping at the heels of a kid getting off the school bus. Finnie is a big teddy bear though. Finnie is a big kid himself though, we guess him to be 8 months to a year old, and he is puppy mouthy. We are searching for just the right person, who wants a big cuddly dog! Finnie has proved to ignore cats for the most part, and does great with other dogs. He just wants to play. He will need some training, so someone who has the time to train, and care for, a younger, big dog, will be needed. We would prefer no kids, or older kids, because of his puppy mouthy ness and previous incident. Ideally someone who works from home or who is retired would be great. He does have alot of energy, so having someone who is active will be important. Finnie would make a great hiking buddy! He is just as ready to be a couch potato with you, also though! If you love Rotty's he just might be the one for you! Finnie's adoption fee includes his Neuter, Rabies, Parvo/Distemper shots, and de wormer, and microchip. Finnie is being fostered near Kent WA, please email email@example.com for an application to adopt our Teddy Bear Rotty Mr Finnie! (Less)

|Rescue Me ID: 14-08-21-00196Mira (female)|
Beautiful Mira is a country girl! This beautiful, 2ish yr old girl weighs about 65-70lbs. She's very sweet with her own people and is very well mannered in the home, but she takes some time to warm up to those she does not know. She's a bit on the insecure side so she needs a confident, assertive person to let her know all things are in control so there's nothing for her to worry about. She does not do well in the high-energetic city settings so must have calmer, country home in which she has plenty of room to run and play. She's really a very sweet, absolutely gorgeous girl that gets along great with other smaller, gentle tempered dogs. Actually, she'd do best with another easy-going dog in the home to help her become more confident. She will do best in an adult only home, or kids must be over 16yrs old... and no cats for this girl. Golden Retriever Dogs can make good pets in Washington if they match your IifestyIe. The Golden Retriever is a gundog that loves the water. Originally bred for hunting, Goldens make wonderful family pets. Golden Retrievers are very sweet, patient, gentle, and excellent with children. Goldens are eager to please and respond very well to obedience training. Goldens make good watchdogs but are far too friendly with everyone, from strangers to other dogs, to be used as guard dogs. Goldens need human companionship. They can get into trouble if neglected. This breed is suitable for homes with yards, and needs plenty of brisk daily exercise.
