Rescue Me ID: 17-04-16-00020Olaf (male)

Golden Retriever Mix    Age: Puppy

Olaf is a somewhat shy, reserved 1yr old, 28lb boy that gets along wonderful with everyone he meets, but would prefer to be given a few minutes upon meeting before climbing into your lap. He is very easy going and is perfectly happy just hanging out at home or running though the backyard with his doggy pals. He Is learning to walk politely on a leash but he's still a bit nervous with highly active, social environments... he's getting there though! Because of his perfect size, he will be a great hiking partner. Olaf has always lived with other dogs (Odie is pictured in another posting) so another dog in the home would be best. He's also ... (Read More)great with horses... although no chickens or cats for Olaf. He's ok with kids so children over 10yrs old would be just fine, too. Because he's still such a young boy, Olaf still needs a bit of training and he should not be left alone for more than 6hr intervals. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-02-19-00251Benjamin (male)

Golden Retriever Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Female Dogs Only, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Welcome Benjamin. He is a 1 year old 45 pound Soft Coated Wheaten/Golden Retriever mix. He loves all people he is met and he bonds deep and quickly to his human. He is a dog that likes lots of companionship. Wheatens typically do not like to be left at home all day so we would prefer someone who has a flexible schedule, works from home or someone is home a lot with him. He likes to jump up and give you the Wheaten Greeting. (He jumps up) He is full of hugs and kisses. He was in a home with a female Blue Heeler so he would be best in a home with another friendly dog. He loves other dogs. He will need a fenced yard as he likes to ... (Read More)run and play. He is a very loveable and he retrieves and comes when you call him. He has the nice soft coat but will need regular brushing or it will get mattes like the soft coated dog breeds. He sheds some but it is on the lower side. He can hop over a shorter fence so he will need a fenced yard at the typical privacy type. He is up on his shots, neutered and ready for his forever home. His adoption fee is 170. Contact me for an application. (Less)
