|Rescue Me ID: 17-02-14-00367Butchy (male)|
We fell in love with Butchy and we think you will too! Butchy came to us after spending a long time in a shelter in WV. We just can't understand why no one chose him! He has lived with other dogs and cats and is a kind and gentle soul! 175.00 adoption donation ($200 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough) , microchipped and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites if needed. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as surgeries and dentals. |Rescue Me ID: 17-02-11-00219Gussy (female)|
Gussy is a special needs girl. She was left in a back yard and never socialized. She has come a long way since being rescued and in foster care. She loves people but just does not trust them fully yet. She gets along great with dogs and does amazingly well on a leash. She just needs a special person that is willing to spend extra time with her to give her the confidence she needs. Please go to petrescuealliance.com for more pics and to fill out an application for this special girl.

Golden Retriever Dogs can make good pets in Virginia if they match your IifestyIe. The Golden Retriever is a gundog that loves the water. Originally bred for hunting, Goldens make wonderful family pets. Golden Retrievers are very sweet, patient, gentle, and excellent with children. Goldens are eager to please and respond very well to obedience training. Goldens make good watchdogs but are far too friendly with everyone, from strangers to other dogs, to be used as guard dogs. Goldens need human companionship. They can get into trouble if neglected. This breed is suitable for homes with yards, and needs plenty of brisk daily exercise.
