|Rescue Me ID: 18-03-28-00406Chico (male)|
Chico is an adult dog with a pink nose and yellow eyes. He is a great dog but he is one who can show dominance with other dogs. He would be best suited in a home with no dogs or at a least senior or submissive dog. He is fine with cats, he only watches them walking around. He loves kids but can be possessive at times. He is great for a single person or maybe an older couple that needs extra security of a larger dog. He is about 75 lbs, heart worm negative, utd on shots, neutered, and no health concerns.

|Rescue Me ID: 18-02-21-00079Rose (female)|
Introducing Rose! She's a beauty, isn't she? Rose is a three year old Golden Retriever mix. Rose loves going for long walks and playing with squeaky toys, but also enjoys a good nap! She get along with every human she meets, but prefers to be the center of her human's attention so she would be best as an only dog. She's been around cats and didn't really mind them. She has not been around small kids, so a home with no young children would be best. Rose knows how to sit for treats and come. She's pretty good on a leash, but still gets excited if she sees a squirrel or rabbit. A perfect day for Rose includes a nice walk in the morning, napping & lounging inside, and ending the day with a nice leisurely walk in the evening. Rose doesn't mind spending time in her crate, but can also be trusted outside of her crate when she's home alone. She's a quiet girl who rarely barks. Rose's adoption fee is waived for an awesome adopter with an approved application! This includes her deworming, dhpp & rabies vaccines, heartworm prevention through date of adoption, flea and tick preventive through date of adoption, spay, and microchip. Golden Retriever Dogs can make good pets in South Carolina if they match your IifestyIe. The Golden Retriever is a gundog that loves the water. Originally bred for hunting, Goldens make wonderful family pets. Golden Retrievers are very sweet, patient, gentle, and excellent with children. Goldens are eager to please and respond very well to obedience training. Goldens make good watchdogs but are far too friendly with everyone, from strangers to other dogs, to be used as guard dogs. Goldens need human companionship. They can get into trouble if neglected. This breed is suitable for homes with yards, and needs plenty of brisk daily exercise.
