Rescue Me ID: 15-07-17-00465Bingo (male)

Golden Retriever Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Bingo needs a home with a lot of room to run! We recently moved into a neighborhood with an HOA, and do not have a privacy fence, so we are unable to keep him. We turned him over to Greenville Animal Care, but filled out the owner reclaim form if it came down to him being euthanized. We just got the call that he has not been adopted and they are running out of room. He passed the temperament test with humans, but does not like other dogs in his face. He needs to find a home soon! Please help this sweet, energetic boy and give him a good home!

Golden Retriever Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: High Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Needs to be Spayed, Needs Vaccinations, Aggressive

Lacey showed up on our doorstep about 2 years ago. She was a very playful and sweet puppy. She got along well with our smaller dog. Within the last few months, she has recently been showing signs of aggression with our smaller dog. Most times, it is when they are around their food. When she is being aggressive with the other dog, she will growl at the people getting involved. She is in a house with a 1 year old baby, and we are not wanting to risk something happening to our daughter.

PIease Read Before Adopting a Golden Retriever in South Carolina
Golden Retriever Dogs can make good pets in South Carolina if they match your IifestyIe. The Golden Retriever is a gundog that loves the water. Originally bred for hunting, Goldens make wonderful family pets. Golden Retrievers are very sweet, patient, gentle, and excellent with children. Goldens are eager to please and respond very well to obedience training. Goldens make good watchdogs but are far too friendly with everyone, from strangers to other dogs, to be used as guard dogs. Goldens need human companionship. They can get into trouble if neglected. This breed is suitable for homes with yards, and needs plenty of brisk daily exercise.
