Rescue Me ID: 15-11-04-00401Simon (male)
SIMON is a 5 year old Golden Retriever/ Lab mix male who would love to spend his adult years in a safe, loving home. He has been vetted, vaccinated and neutered. He weighs 60 pounds. He tested positive for heartworm and will receive treatment for that. He has gotten along fine with other female dogs at his foster home. If you live in another state, don't let that stand in your way. We will work to transport Simon if it means he will have a good forever home. If you are another rescue group, we will waive the adoption fee but you can make a donation toward vetting at your discretion. The adoption fee will help our 501(c)(3) non-profit rescue to cover at least some of the cost of the veterinary care he has received. (Less)

My shelter name is Jack. I am about 3 years old and I'm Prancer's brother. Prancer has already said it all. We wondered off together and ended up at the shelter. We managed to see a lot on our adventure though :). Come to the shelter and see us! We don't have to go to the same family, I just want my brother to be happy and I know he wishes the same for me!

Animal ID: 0419Vader- sponsored (male)
Hello there. My name is Vader. I'm about 1 year old and I weigh 57 lbs. I am a very sweet, young, energetic boy. I love people and I get along well with other dogs. If you're looking for a sweet dog to add to your family, please consider adopting me. **UPDATE** I was adopted for a short amount of time but I was returned because I didn't get along well with one of the other dogs in the home. He was a small dog. It is advised that I go to a new home with larger dogs. I get along very well with other dogs here at the pound and I am very playful. I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer. PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER SEPTEMBER 29, 2015. HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS. MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY NEUTER SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO. THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 15-04-30-00652Dory (female)
Princess Dory is a comical young girl, with gorgeous caramel eyes, and at only 7 months old, she has such a delightful personality, along with her snaggle tooth and under bite! How can you not love that face! Dory's mommy is Princess Amelia, who is a Retriever mix, and we are unsure who is her daddy, but, look at that face, does it matter?? Dory is smaller, only weighing 24 lbs, she loves to play, is good with other dogs, cats and children, is housebroken and loves to hang her head out of the window in the car. Dory has been spayed, is heartworm negative, current on her shots, including rabies and Bordetella. She has been wormed, micro-chipped and started on her flea and heartworm prevention as well. Dory's adoption donation is $150.00 All of our Royal's are spayed or neutered, brought current on all shots, including rabies and bordetella, heartworm tested, wormed, microchipped and receive a dental if needed. An application must be completed, submitted and approved prior to meeting any of our Royal Prince and Princesses. A completed application does not guarantee adoption approval If interested in adopting into your family, please download an adoption application at our web site http://www.royaltydogrescue.com Office hours for phone calls with questions about our adoptable Royalty are: Mon, Fri: 1 pm- 7pm Tues, Wed, Thurs: 10 am - 7pm Sat: 9 am - 12 pm Closed for calls on Sunday. Golden Retriever Dogs can make good pets in Ohio if they match your IifestyIe. The Golden Retriever is a gundog that loves the water. Originally bred for hunting, Goldens make wonderful family pets. Golden Retrievers are very sweet, patient, gentle, and excellent with children. Goldens are eager to please and respond very well to obedience training. Goldens make good watchdogs but are far too friendly with everyone, from strangers to other dogs, to be used as guard dogs. Goldens need human companionship. They can get into trouble if neglected. This breed is suitable for homes with yards, and needs plenty of brisk daily exercise.
