Rescue Me ID: 14-03-30-00345Fleur (female)
If you like a quieter more refined dog, well, look no further. Fleur is a resident of the shelter and needs a loving and safe home. She is not a fan of the loud noises that can sometimes be heard here but is adjusting. She was found as a stray and brought to the shelter. She has been pretty quiet here and gets shy when things get really loud. She is looking for a forever home where she can get the love and attention she deserves. Can you give her the quiet loving home she deserves? Shelter hours: M-F 9-5 SAT 9-1

Rescue Me ID: 14-03-30-00333Duke (male)
Duke had been found as a stray back in November of 2013. At that time, he found a new owner and was doing great. However, due to new circumstances, Duke was brought back to the shelter because the owners could no longer keep him. So, Duke is now looking for that forever, loving home. He did great in the house with another dog. He was around women, men and children, never having a problem with any of them. He has not been tested with cats here at the shelter though. As noticed in his picture, he is a very cute and friendly boy who just wishes to be loved. He is now looking for that forever home that he can call his own. Come see him today! |Rescue Me ID: 14-03-24-00573Abbe (female)|
Abbe is 6-7 years old and is very sweet with all people. She is not great with other dogs so should be adopted as an only dog. We were told she was dog friendly and have had her over a year and she is stressing our other dog out. She would also be happier as an only dog. She loves to fetch balls and take walks. She also loves to be petted and brushed/combed. She is very sweet.

Rescue Me ID: 14-03-10-00400Zeus (male)
Hi! My name is Zeus. I wiggle A LOT. Why? Because I am just so happy ALL THE TIME! I can't help it. People pet me and give me treats and I just can't control my wagging tail and wiggly butt. So if you are wondering why my pictures are a bit blurry it is because well I wiggle. The lady at a rescue shelter came to work one evening and found me tied up to her door with a note attached that said 'Please find Zeus a good home, we can't keep him' So here I am waiting for a home... would you like to take me home? I love love LOVE my ball, I love to wiggle, I love to be hugged, I love to be petted, I love pretty much everything. The only thing I am not ok on is sharing my food dish with another dog so my foster mom crates me so I can eat in peace. I am ok with toys and treats but will push the other dog away from my food bowl. I am totally ok with humans, you weird people don't like dog food anyway.. you have no idea what your missing so your loss. I am just not going to share with another dog. Sorry. I am doing great with house training and crate training and I just can't wait to have a family to love me forever. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-01-29-00614Nala (female)
Nala is a very sweet dog who would be perfect for a couple or single person with children out of the home. She is very active and loyal to her owner. She has had issues with being territorial in the past but she is currently being trained to be submissive. Nala was rescued from a family who was going to put her down. I have been fostering her for a few months and would love to see her go to a loving forever home!

Golden Retriever Dogs can make good pets in Ohio if they match your IifestyIe. The Golden Retriever is a gundog that loves the water. Originally bred for hunting, Goldens make wonderful family pets. Golden Retrievers are very sweet, patient, gentle, and excellent with children. Goldens are eager to please and respond very well to obedience training. Goldens make good watchdogs but are far too friendly with everyone, from strangers to other dogs, to be used as guard dogs. Goldens need human companionship. They can get into trouble if neglected. This breed is suitable for homes with yards, and needs plenty of brisk daily exercise.
