Rescue Me ID: 17-11-04-00213Scarlett (female)
Looking to rehome Miss Scarlett. She was adopted as a puppy and we've had her almost five years. Due to family and health issues, we have recently moved and our new home just doesn't have the room she deserves. She loves to run and play all day, she has a high prey drive. Our new yard is very small and it seems like a disservice to her to keep her in it, but we don't want her running away either. She is very house trained, knows basic commands, loves to give kisses and cuddles and will snuggle all night in your bed. She tends to get along more with large male dogs. We have a cat that she mostly leaves alone except the occasional sniff. She's been raised around a small child and does great with all kids and adults. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-10-20-00469Molly (female)
Beautiful gentle Miss Molly, dumped at a kill shelter. A gorgeous golden lab, Molly loves her teddy bear, tennis balls, belly rubs and tyour affection. She has had a hard life, was emaciated when rescued...but she has filled out and enjoys a soft bed in her temporary foster home. Molly is heartworm positive and started treatment that we are paying for entirely . That means a month of antibiotic nearly done and no restriction in play, then two ivermectin injections, followed by a quiet period for a month... then done! and back to her playful life. A cuddler after a good romp, she is about 55 pounds, beautiful. Please see our adoption application at www.crisisdogsnc.org We do not keep good adopters waiting. We will transport to an approved home. See her video on YouTube above and ask for more pics. This is a lovely sweet dog. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-10-08-00103Oscar (male)
Oscar is my name and I am almost 6 months old. I am an adorable mutt and will be a medium sized dog (30 pounds) when grown. My mom is a small Golden/Lab mix and daddy is unknown. My foster family adores me, they think I am just the sweetest baby boy who loves to snuggle and socialize with everybody. I am house trained and have received all my puppy shots including rabies. Fenced in yard would be wonderful.

Golden Retriever Dogs can make good pets in North Carolina if they match your IifestyIe. The Golden Retriever is a gundog that loves the water. Originally bred for hunting, Goldens make wonderful family pets. Golden Retrievers are very sweet, patient, gentle, and excellent with children. Goldens are eager to please and respond very well to obedience training. Goldens make good watchdogs but are far too friendly with everyone, from strangers to other dogs, to be used as guard dogs. Goldens need human companionship. They can get into trouble if neglected. This breed is suitable for homes with yards, and needs plenty of brisk daily exercise.
